Books (Harvard Library general collections, Harvard-owned books from Offsite Storage, and titles borrowed via Borrow Direct or Interlibrary Loan) may be returned to any Harvard Library location, including the HKS Library. Once returned, they will be shipped back to the owning library, or sent to another location to be picked up by the next requesting patron.

Reserve items, technology, or other special materials may only be returned to the item’s owning library. These may include physical course reserve materials like books or DVDS; tech-lending items such as chargers, adapters, loaner laptops, and calculators; or PAEs/SYPAs.
