New Special Borrowers Cards for spouses and domestic partners are not created at this time but current card holders’ expiration date and due dates for books will be extended. If you have any questions, please contact the Privileges Office.
Spouses or domestic partners of HKS affiliates may obtain a Special Borrowers Card, valid for access and borrowing at some Harvard libraries.
To apply for this card your partner should bring their government issued photo ID and a photocopy or picture of your Harvard ID.
If your last names differ, also bring one of these items:
- a copy of a lease in both your names
- your marriage certificate
- a utility bill or other piece of official mail with both of your names listed as residing at the same address.
Take these items to the Harvard Library Privileges Office, Widener Library Room 130 and they will help provide the card.
If you have any questions please contact the Privileges Office.
