The HKS Library has created a research guide entitled "Publishing your Article or Book" for authors in the HKS community. The guide includes information about obtaining an author id, ranking tools that you can use in deciding what journal to submit your articles to publications, books on academic writing, and other resources of interest for academic authors.

We provide basic copyright information to the HKS community for authors with questions about publishing agreements, obtaining permissions for third party images or charts, and fair use and licensing issues.

We can also help with installing and using Zotero for citation creation and provide some assistance with cleaning up citation metadata in Zotero.

You can contact us through Ask a HKS Librarian to schedule a consultation with an HKS research librarian to discuss your specific publishing needs.
