There is no HKS school-wide policy that mandates a citation style for student papers. Check with the individual faculty member who assigned the paper to determine if s/he has a required or preferred citation style. Learn more about Citation Style Guides & Tools.

HKS Library supports the citation management tool, Zotero, which allows you to easily change citation styles. Zotero includes hundreds of citations styles including popular ones like MLA, APA, and Chicago Manual of Style. Visit the Harvard Library's Zotero: Getting Started to learn more.
