Force Google to look for words in the exactly how you type them by putting quotes around the words.

  • Restrict your search to a particular website or domain

Use site: to restrict your search only to a particular site:

site:oecd.org

Use site:domain to limit your search to a particular domain:

Use site:gov + any keywords to limit your search to government institutions.

Use site:.edu at government institutor educational institutions.

  • Use OR to broaden your results

anthropogenic OR natural causes of climate change

  • Use the minus sign to exclude results
