  • Are you an HKS student?  See: Where can I print at the Library if I'm not an HKS student?
  • Are you logged in?  Be sure to login using your HKS username and password.  
  • If you get a "held resources required" message displayed at the printer you have submitted a print job that requires a unique paper size that is not supplied by the printer. Our printers have "US Letter" (8.5" x 11") and "US Legal" (8.5" x 14") paper, so if you send a job that uses a different type of paper, you will get this message. The fix is to change the paper size in the page setup of the printer dialog window when preparing the print job on your computer.  You can also try saving the file as a PDF.
  • If printing a document from a Mac to a specific printer for the first time, enter your HKS username and password when prompted.
