Search in HOLLIS+ by the film title to link directly to the movie using your HarvardKey. You may also want to search directly for films in Kanopy or Alexander Street Video as sometimes there is a delay in cataloging new additions to these databases.

Kanopy Directions:

Once you are in Kanopy, click on the yellow play button to start the movie. To expand the movie to full-screen view, click on the tiny box in the lower right side of the screen once you have started playing the movie. To view the box, your cursor must hover over the video screen.

Click on the More button below the movie screen, to view the transcript or add the movie to your playlist (requires free account or facebook/google account). See Kanopy screenshot below:. If you add the movie, to your playlist you have additional viewing options such as limiting your viewing to specific clips from the movie.

Select the Share button to copy and paste the video link into Canvas or your class syllabus so students can  video outside of class during their free time.

Alexander Street Video provides detailed instructions on how to stream video/audio,view transcripts and create playlists and clips from its home page.
