Harvard does not provide free access to language learning software.

There is free access to other programs through local public libraries. By getting a library card at the Cambridge Public Library you can access Mango Languages. The Boston Public Library provides online access to Mango Languages through their e-card. Anyone with a Massachusetts address, even a temporary one while a student, can get a card at any Massachusetts public library.

You can also use the free Duolingo site for personalized language instruction for over thirty languages.
