You can create alerts in HOLLIS+. Every week, when new books, journals, other items purchased by Harvard Libraries are added to HOLLIS+, you will be alerted if your search terms match the HOLLIS+ records.
1) Click on the sign in link is in the upper right hand side of the HOLLIS screen. Follow the next steps to set up your alert.
2) Create a search using a keyword or author name. (Go to advanced search for advanced searching options).
3) Once you have your results, scroll down the results list to the left bottom side of the screen and select the folder icon that says "Save Search"
4) Lastly, name your search, select the "save & alert" function and click on save.
You will begin receiving email alerts within seven days of the creation of your alert.
