Yes, you can! Go to and search for the style you need. Once you find the one you want (hover over the titles to see how they will appear in your document), do the following:

  1. Click on the style you want to install. In this case you want to install a version of Chicago that does not use Ibid.

  1. Click on Install and Cancel on the box that prompts you to Open or Save.

  1. If you want to change the style for a document you have already been adding citations to, click on Document Preferences. Choose the style you just installed and click OK. If you are using this on a new document just choose that style when you insert the first citation.
